Ordinary woodlands, when the bluebells bloom, become enchanting, magical places. That lovely carpet of colour is striking against the vivid greens of the early spring leaves. Everybody is in awe of these whimsical woodlands when they're full of bluebells. Did you know they are also called Cuckoo's Boots and Witches Thimbles?!
It all makes for a wonderful place to capture some natural family photos. Which is just what I did for a handful of families at the end of April during my morning of Bluebell photoshoots. Held in a lovely bluebell wood in Surrey, those beautiful blue flowers were a little late this year thanks to the chilly Spring but they worth the wait nonetheless.
Most of my sessions take place out in nature. Locations like these bluebell woods make family photoshoots a much more natural and relaxed experience, which ultimately makes for more authentic images.
NEVER TOO OLD FOR FAMILY PHOTOS
This lovely family joined me for an extended family bluebell photoshoot. Proving that it's never too late to capture some memories. Mum, dad, their two daughters and a husband joined me in the woodland and despite claiming to be shy in front of the camera, they did an amazing job!
