Lockdown 2.0 forced me to rearrange quite a few family photoshoots that I had booked in for November and early December. My Surrey Christmas mini sessions did not escape unscathed. Pushed back by a month, it was a bit of a rush with the printing, but we managed to get the photos taken and the cards printed with time for my lovely clients to send them out before Christmas. Phew!
I usually shoot in the great outdoors or in the comfort of my clients own homes. But for these Christmas minis, I invited my clients into the comfort of my own home in Lingfield, Surrey.
Here are a few of my favourites images from this years Christmas mini sessions...
SPREADING CHRISTMAS CHEER
These mini sessions came with digital images and a Facebook cover, with the opportunity to upgrade and include printed Christmas cards.
WHAT TO WEAR FOR A CHRISTMAS MINI SESSION
There are less rules when it comes to dressing for a Christmas shoot! You can go glam with sparkly dresses and smart shirts. You could go down the Christmas jumper route. Or even pop on some festive pyjamas. Snuggly winter clothes also work well. As do accessories like hats. If you have siblings, try and co-ordinate their outfits. That's not to say they have to match but the colours should complement each other. Check out my Pinterest board for more inspiration on what to wear to your Christmas mini session.
