Spring at Tilgate Park is like stepping into a storybook. The air is crisp, the trees are waking up and the colours are breathtaking. In this gorgeous setting, I had the pleasure of capturing some beautiful moments with this lovely family.

Tilgate Park in Crawley, West Sussex, is a paradise for outdoor family photoshoots. I'd do all my sessions there if I could! From serene lakes to lush woodlands, this park has it all. No matter what time of year it is.

March screams spring but in reality, there are very few leaves on trees out at this time of the year so finding a location that doesn't look so desolate can be tricky.

So Tilgate, with all its evergreens and gorgeous seasonal displays, is my go to.

And hidden away is this little gem of an area. Sheltered, small and quiet. It's perfect for a family photoshoot. And for a few weeks it is overflowing with purple and white heather. It provided the perfect backdrop for our session, capturing the essence of spring and family connection.

Two Adorable Girls

This family is just lovely – two lively girls full of energy and laughter. As a Surrey family photographer, I've had the joy of photographing them before.
