I love a Lavender fields photoshoot. It is a glorious way to spend a summers morning and I never fail to leave with a smile on my face.
This family didn't book one of my Limited Edition lavender field photoshoots as they had grandparents visiting from India and wanted to have a little more time and flexibility with their shoot. So they booked a full session and chose their preferred date and time, knowing there would be no rush on the day. We had a very relaxed session.
FAMILY IMAGES
As the grandparents were visiting from India, we made sure to capture some lovely memories of them with their daughter, son-in-law and grandsons at <Mayfield Lavender> in Surrey. Plus a couple of just the two of them!
Because this was a full lavender fields photoshoot and we had plenty of time, we took some lovely photos of the family on their own too, as well as some of these fun loving boys. Kids love this place without fail!
With a family photoshoot I always try and take some lovely portraits of individual children as well as sibling photos.
Most parents are a little reluctant to have some couple portraits taken and often quip that they last time they had nice images of just the two of them was their wedding! No matter how reluctant they are to have these photos taken, they do very often choose them! And with such a gorgeous setting for this lavender fields photoshoot, I wasn't going to miss this opportunity!
