As a maternity photographer in Kent, Surrey and Sussex, I love photographing couples that are on the verge of becoming a family. The excitement is contagious.
This session was a gift to this beautiful mum to be from her lovely sister and mum. Having never had a photoshoot before she felt a little nervous at the thought of having the session in a public place, but as luck would have it her family home has a beautiful autumnal garden.
We almost had to postpone this maternity photoshoot in Sidcup because of the rainy forecast and we did have to shelter from a short shower, but in the end we made the right decision to go ahead. She was a little worried the baby might come early and she'd miss her chance at having maternity photos.
KENT MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOT IN A BEAUTIFUL SIDCUP GARDEN
There were lots of beautiful spots to use in this garden as a backdrop for our maternity photoshoot and you'd never know that the first thing I had to do when I arrived was take cover from the rain!

A maternity photoshoot will of course also include some family images. If it's your first child then you can expect some images of you as a couple, if you already have a child or children then we'll also get some family shots to document your family as you are right now.
During this maternity photoshoot we captured a few images of mum-in-waiting with her little sister who was very excited about becoming an aunty!
FUR BABIES WELCOME
Dogs are always super welcome at my sessions. Look at this little sweetie! He was lovingly carried across the garden to my blanket so he didn't get all muddy! What a good boy.
