Take a look inside this lavender fields photoshoot at Mayfield Lavender in Banstead, Surrey. I have photographed this family before as lockdown restrictions began to ease in the summer of 2020 when their son was 3 months old. You can see that outdoor newborn photoshoot here.

For this lavender fields photoshoot, they were joined by the newest addition to their family who is the same age now as his brother was. I love seeing families grow!

FAMILY IMAGES

For most of my clients, it is the family images that are most important. Photos of everyone together. These mini lavender photoshoots at Mayfield Lavender in Surrey are only 20 minutes long, so I make these a priority.

Then we can capture some of each parent with the child or children. I am for a mix of looking at the camera shots and more candid moments.

With a family photoshoot I always try and take some portraits of individual children. If they're willing of course!
