I've also got some frequently asked questions. But please do get in touch if you'd like to have a chat. I'd love to hear from you!
How Are Bitesize Sessions Different From Mini Sessions?
Typically when a photographer offers mini sessions they shoot multiple clients back-to-back on a set date and time. I do this too at certain times of the year, in amongst the Bluebells, Lavender and at Christmas for example. But these bitesize family sessions are different. They're bespoke. I really want my photoshoots to be as relaxed as possible and that's unlikely if you're stressed about missing your slot because you were 10 minutes late leaving the house! You'll be my only client that day, and if you're late you're late, no biggie! You can also choose the date and location too.
What to Expect
It's super easy to book a Bitesize Family Session - you can do it <online>. Just pick your date and then I'll send you a booking proposal where you can take a squizz at the T&Cs, pay your deposit and fill out a short questionnaire so I can find out a bit more about you and your lovely brood. I'll then pop over a session guide that will help you get ready for the photoshoot, as well as a guide that will help answer that all important question - what do we wear?!
The session itself will be around 30 minutes. Sometimes they're a bit quicker, sometimes they take a bit longer. It takes as long as it takes. I understand that it can be slightly terrifying if you aren't used to being in front of the camera, so I aim to keep it relaxed and fun. Because that's how we'll capture the sweetest, unscripted moments.
My Photography Style
How would I describe my style? Natural, light-filled family photography. No plain white backgrounds here. No forced posing. No blue jeans and white shirts for everyone. I strive to capture natural images of you and your family in the great outdoors. Wherever we shoot, your images will look and feel like you.
How Much Does a Bitesize Session Cost?
To reflect the simplicity of these bitesize sessions, I charge a simple flat fee. One fee that covers my time, the session, digital images and a few prints to boot. There are also a few other bits and bobs baked into the price for these little family shoots. Optional upgrades are available too. If you want more than 10 images, then a full family photoshoot is a better bet for you. Keep scrolling to see some of the most frequently asked questions I get about these family mini sessions.

Got Any Questions?
Choosing your family photographer is a big decision. I've answered some of the most common queries I get below but if there is anything else like you'd know please do give me a shout. I'd love to hear from you!
So where will my session be?
As a family photographer I cover areas in Surrey, Sussex and Kent. Bitesize family sessions can take place at an outdoor location of your choice. If you need help choosing somewhere, just let me know.
When is the best time to do it?
For bitesize mini sessions, we can do these whenever you like! Just drop me a message to check on availability.
When should I book?
Bitesize family photography sessions can be booked at anytime. Just give me a shout!
What should we wear?
This bit stresses most people out a little! After you've booked I will send you some information on what you should wear. In the meantime you can check out my boards on Pinterest for some ideas. The most important thing is that you feel like you! For younger kids, it might be an idea to have a spare set of clothes on hand. Just in case.
What if the weather is rubbish?
Well, we are in England so let's face it, that's a very real possibility! Blue skies and whispy clouds are of course lovely, but don't be put off by thicker cloud cover. Skies like these can make your photos really atmospheric. Whatever Mother Nature has in store for us, we can take a call the day before. If necessary we'll just reschedule for another time that's convenient for you.
How long will the session last?
I allow around 30 minutes for a bitesize sessions. Sometimes we need a little bit longer, other times it'll be a bit quicker. I don't really clock watch, it takes as long as it takes!
What happens after?
I will go home and spend some time choosing the best photos to tell your story. When they are ready I will send you an online gallery of beautifully retouched images. This will typically take around 2 weeks. After you have had time to look through your gallery you can choose which 5 images you would like. If you want to purchase any others, details will be sent at the time. No pressure though!
